It's located on the western coast of Africa, and I was given the opprotunity to go with Global Teens through the International YMCA, and it was made real with the help of my extremely generous sponsors. The whole purpose of my trip was to do community service and immerse myself into a culture, but I fell in love with the country and people as well. I love Gambia, and definetely plan on returning sometime, hopefully in the near future.
